Annie's

The idea behind Annie's was conceived on a park bench one summer evening in 2022 with a desire to offer something different than what was readily available in Bhubaneswar's culinary scene. The lack of healthy eating options in an environment that had come to be thickly populated by vendors making use of palm oil, adulterated ingredients, and processed sugars was a sad and frustrating reality.

Honey lemonade was the catalyst behind the development of our menu. We wanted to incorporate healthier ingredients like oats and millets into crowd favorites, providing something for every palate while following the food pyramid.

At Annie's, we believe the path to overall good health is paved with the conscious choosing of lesser evils while following the food pyramid. Healthy eating should be made affordable and accessible as an everyday choice.

As we set up a cafe in a little shack, Annie's became a labour of love rather than a business adventure. We wanted the simple space to be a place one would look forward to visiting every day, for the food and the vibes; where one could sit back and relax, have hearty conversations over healthful meals in a cosy, homely ambience.
